Carolyn Akers
Licensed Landscape Architect & Owner 
Carolyn Akers is a Licensed Landscape Architect and the owner of Blue Lily Landscape Architecture. The firm is based in Marietta, Georgia and services clients throughout Atlanta and the Southeastern United States. A desire to weave her love of the outdoors with her creative nature led her to earn a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. She brings almost 20 years of experience in design, plants, construction management, and installation. Her work began with a reputable residential landscape architectural design build firm in the greater Atlanta area that shaped her belief that thoughtful, sustainable, and skillful landscape architectural design is captured best through the collaborative efforts between the client and the designer. She loves that each project brings a unique set of challenges and design opportunities. Using her experience as a guide, she established Blue Lily Landscape Architecture in 2017. Blue Lily offers a variety of services to transform properties into an outdoor extension of the home through well planned, creative, client specific/cost conscious design and implementation. Carolyn’s experience is showcased in her keen understanding of plants, design, budgeting, and project management. Her easy to work with approach helps make the design and installation process a great experience. Carolyn and her family are long-time residents of East Cobb in Marietta.
